About the Author

GLENN H. UTTER is Professor of Political Science at Lamar University, Beaumont, Texas. He is the author of the Encyclopedia of Gun Control and Gun Rights (Oryx Press, 2000), Campaign and Election Reform (1997), and The Religious Right (1995).

CHARLES LOCKHART is Professor of Political Science at Texas Christian University, Fort Worth.
