About the Author: Pamela A. Collins is Executive Director of the Justice and Safety Center at Eastern Kentucky University. She is the co-author of Contemporary Issues in Homeland Security, Women in Law Enforcement, Principles of Security and Crime Prevention, and Workplace Violence. She has also published book chapters, book reviews, and several journal articles.

Ryan K. Baggett is Director of Homeland Security Programs at the Justice and Safety Center at Eastern Kentucky University, where he directs several federal programs from both the Department of Homeland Security and the Department of Justice. He also serves as adjunct faculty with the Homeland Security department at EKU.
