• In 1989 Greenwood Press published the excellent reference book, American Legislative Leaders, 1850-1911, that provided the first of its kind information about the state house speakers in this country....Overall all this is a commendable reference that will be of interest to persons seeking political and historical information relating to this country's state legislatures and biograhical information for often difficult to find political figures. Recommended for larger academic and public libraries.
