About the Author: James M. McGoldrick Jr. is Professor of Law at Pepperdine University School of Law where he has served for 33 years, also serving as Associate Dean during eight of those years. He began his career as a trial attorney for the U.S. Department of Justice in the attorney general's Program for Honor Law Graduates, Antitrust division. He is a member of the California State Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
