• As Awe herself asks, "Why another book on entrepreneurship?" Her answer, and it is a good one, is that "starting a successful business is not a simple task." In other words, the devil's in the details. It is just those details that are covered in this work, which includes in-depth advice and information going far beyond just starting a business. Chapters cover the research and planning stages, raising capital, marketing, hiring personnel, legal and tax issues, and even growth strategies and exit policies. Each chapter is subdivided into sections that outline every step of the process, along with lists of print and online resources that provide further information. While this type of work becomes quickly outdated, there is enough text and background information here that it will prove useful even if some of its web links die. Recommended for public libraries and all business collections.
