• This book is wide ranging and covers diverse areas, from the origins of seas through ocean tides to ocean mammals....This book is genuinely interesting both from a scientific content point of view and also because the stories from around the world are often very entertaining. If you are at all curious as to the derivation of the words hurricane or shark, then this book could be for you! The book is certainly refreshing in the way it mixes science and myth.
