Bonnie C. Marshall BONNIE C. MARSHALL, author, teacher, translator, and folklorist, is a museum teacher for the New Hampshire Historical Society. Dr. Marshall has established Russian programs at Davidson College and at Johnson C. Smith University, where she served as Adjunct Associate Professor of Russian and Curriculum Coordinator of the Russian Program. She has taught Russian at several universities in the United States. In addition, Dr. Marshall has taught English in St. Petersburg and Moscow at the School for Global Education and the American Academy of Foreign Languages. Her publications include the prize-winning Baba Yaga's Geese and Other Russian Stories (1973), Grasshopper to the Rescue (1979, Junior Literary Guild Award), Tales from the Heart of the Balkans (2001), and The Snow Maiden and Other Russian Tales (2004).
