Robert Michael ROBERT MICHAEL is Professor of European History at the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth, where he has taught the Holocaust for 25 years. He has published over 50 articles on the Holocaust and anti-Semitism and several books, including The Holocaust Chronicle (1999) and The Holocaust: A Chronology and Documentary (1998). He is a recipient of the American Historical Association's James Harvey Robinson Prize for the "most outstanding contribution to the teaching and learning of history in any field" (1997).
