Brooke E. Sheldon BROOKE E. SHELDON has held senior positions in the library profession as well as being dean of Library and Information Science at Arizona, Texas-Austin and Texas Woman's University. Dr. Sheldon is a past president of the American Library Association and past chair of its Committee on Accreditation, among others, and has taught graduate courses in foundations and management. She is a prolific writer and editor and an award-winning professional and scholar.
