Wayne Stewart Wayne Stewart has now written over 20 books and countless magazine articles. He was born and raised in Donora, PA, a town that has produced big league baseball players, including Stan Musial and the father-son Griffeys. Mr. Stewart has covered the baseball world since 1978 and has interviewed and profiled many Hall of Famers, including Nolan Ryan, Bob Gibson, and Warren Spahn.
