Elayne Zorn ELAYNE ZORN is an Associate Professor of Anthropology at the University of Central Florida. Her research during the past 25 years has examined community tourism and traditional and tourist arts in highland Peru and Bolivia, focusing on how indigenous Quechua-speaking people build on traditional cultural practices to cope with globalization. Publications include Weaving a Future: Tourism, Cloth, and Culture on an Andean Island (2004), and several dozen articles and book chapters on topics including textiles, tourism, food, music, and Latin American folk artists in Florida.
