The Crash Course series was created for individuals working in libraries of all sizes who need basic information on various service-specific topics. Written in lay terms, the tone of the Crash Course series is "how to" with little theory, but providing the fundamentals of day-to-day services. The books may be used for reference, as workshop guides, or as training manuals, and will be useful to staff who may need refresher information, as well as to new librarians.
