III. CHECKLIST FOR MANUSCRIPT ACCEPTANCE
To help you remember the items that must be included for your
manuscript submission to be complete, and to receive any final advance
payment, you must submit this checklist when you submit your final
manuscript.
- Title Page with your name as you wish it to appear
- Advisory Board List (if you have one). You are responsible for
checking all names and spellings with your advisers.
- Dedication/Epigraph (if desired)
- Table of Contents
- Alphabetical List of Entries (if an A-Z arrangement)
- List of entries arranged by broad subject called "Guide to Related
Topics" (if A-Z project) (see sample)
- Foreword (optional—Greenwood will advise if needed)
- Preface (use this Preface checklist for tips)
- Acknowledgments (if desired)
- Introduction (if needed)
- Chronology/Timeline (if required, see sample timeline)
- A-Z Entries, if an A-Z arranged book, submitted in no more than 20
large Word or RTF files. Do not submit entries in individual
files unless your editor okays it.
- OR chapters or main text of book
- Other contract rider

- About the Editors/Contributors (contributor & author
biographies). (See sample).
- Illustrations, with placement instructions, or illustration request
list, which have been submitted prior to ms. completion. (See "Illustrating a Reference
